Match report: vs Brixton Barbarians
It was the turn of the Brixton Barbarians and although we have played them many times, this is the 2nd time we have played at their ground. The ground did not disappoint on a lovely sunny day perfect for cricket with an amazing wicket. We won the toss and Charlie chose to bat first, not a surprising decision as with the sun out and a great wicket it would have been madness to do anything else. Paul and Jez started the innings and got us off to a good start, Jez putting the pressure back on the bowlers with some attacking shots and Paul also hitting some nice boundaries. Just as it looked they had seen off the tricky opening bowler, Paul chipped one straight up in the air to the keeper. Jez, however, continued and was then joined by Rajesh.
